El beneficio de RCS, propietario del diario El Mundo, cae un 74.8% en el primer semestre. La bajada ha sido especialmente acusada en Unidad Editoria, a pesar de la compra de Recoletos.

No he encontrado en ningún sitio que mencionen una caida del beneficio debido a El Mundo o Unidad Editorial.
"Unidad Editorial (Spanish Newspapers), which was boosted by the consolidation of Recoletos from the second quarter of 2007, reported an increase in revenues from EUR 282.4 to EUR 346.9 million (+22.8%). Taking into account the unconsolidated revenues of Recoletos for the first quarter of 2007, revenues would have shown a fall of EUR 4.2 million."

La web de El Mundo sigue siendo la de información en castellano más visitada del mundo y entre las cinco primeras en cualquier idioma. En papel cae en ventas más o menos lo mismo que El Pais.

Desgraciadamente pagarán el pato los trabajadores tanto de Recoletos como de Unidad Editorial. Menos beneficios, más recortes.
